Leaked Wii U Controller | Newsbytes

I'm very excited about this new controller. It's only a matter of time before we know the details!

Django Unchained

Quentin Tarantino setting up a classic shot in "Django Unchained"

Django Unchained is Quentin Tarantino's love letter to "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly" and I couldn't be more excited for this film. I'm a huge fan of "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly" and the above production still is a small hint at the direction Django Unchained is going to take. This setup is a classic shot from "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly" and below is the still frame from "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly" showing how Tarantino is capturing the same classic style!

Xbox 360 Ban in the US | Newsbytes

What do you think about this? I could never see it getting banned but imagine that? A life without Xbox 360 in the states. That would be really odd!

Starhawk Review

StarHawk! It's here and it's good. It's not perfect but It's worth a play. I really had a great time with the online modes. The game had a very cool vibe. It's based in a futuristic old west setting! I'm a big fan of the classic film "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly' and Red Dead and this game fit right into that world. I wasn't the biggest fan of the main character. I was hoping for a little more in terms of story. It's a simple story but It's solid. If you only have a PS3 I'd say you should pick it up!

In the Woods with Gunns4Hire

This weekend Mike Colangelo and I will be going into the woods with Gunns. I don't know if I'm excited to be doing this or not. I'm scared of Black Bears! Gunns keeps saying that we will not have to deal with any but I have a feeling that we will. I'm not looking forward to that! I really think this show could be epic. It will depend on what we do with our time. I'm not sure what we will be doing each day but I know I will be fishing one day for sure! I look forward to that. Hopefully we come back alive! See you soon!

Mortal Kombat PS Vita Review

MORTAL KOMBAT!!! My favorite fighting game is on the PS Vita. There was a lot that I wanted to talk about in this review about growing up with Mortal Kombat but I get way ahead of myself sometimes. This review was not the place to do that. Now that I have this blog I can talk about whatever I want! I grew up with Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat. I'm not sure which one I played more but I do know that I have a lot more fun with Mortal Kombat and I still feel the same way this generation. Thankfully they didn't hold back when they ported the game over from the PS3. Everything you know and love about MK is in this game. I'm very impressed with the amount of detail went into the X-ray mode on the PS VITA. It's my second favorite game on the PS Vita now. (Rayman: Origins is #1) If anyone has a copy of MK on the VITA, leave a comment below and let's FIGHT!

CreationCraft Teaser

Here are just a few teaser screen shots of the CreationCraft world.

CreationCraft!

I'm very excited to be giving a sneak peek into the world of CreationCraft later tonight on my Blog. Make sure you stay tuned for more info on CreationCraft in the coming weeks. What started out as a day date with Gunns4hire turned into the most exciting we've ever had at 3KB. We had been playing around with the idea of releasing Minecraft videos but I personally didn't want to get into doing that because it was not inspired for me. It felt like the same old thing but that was until we got permission from Gunns to start work on a kind of spin off show from SurvivorCraft. Not only will Gunns be giving his blessing on CreationCraft, he will also be a guest host on CreationCraft along with Meatwagon. I've never been this excited for a 3KB project! I've been working with a few different sponsors for CreationCraft and let's just say that the prize pool will be EPIC! Stay tuned for more info later tonight with a few sneak peak screen shots of CreationCraft!

The Avengers Review

The Avengers could have been a train wreck but thankfully it did something that very few films in general can do. Having this many main character's that have already proven their worth come together in one giant film was a huge task and I have to get the director a lot of credit. Joss Whedon has had to deal with this in the past and it shows that he knew what to do with this many iconic super heros in one film. I'm very thankful they gave him the job. I stated in the review that I was disappointed with the films score. I have many different examples of score music that played a major role in the way we experience films but I want to use The Dark Knight as this example. Hans Zimmer and James Newton Howard crafted such an iconic score for the Joke. You remember the music as much as the action or the acting. The music in The Dark Knight brings the film to another level emotionally. Look at the classic film "Halloween" The director screened the film for a group of studio heads without the score music and they hated the film but once he added in the classic Halloween score music it took the film to another level. It gave The Shape a new depth that wasn't in the film before the score music was added. My point is clear and I think a lot of people agree with me that the score could have been a lot better.

Welcome to the Next Level

Since I helped start 3_Killa_Bytes in 2009 I've always wanted start a blog where I could post any extra feelings that I may have had when reviewing the latest video games. Sometimes a lot of what I say in the video review ends up on the cutting room floor and that's why I've decided to start this blog! I'm very excited to get it up and running!
